Julie Young is an edupreneur—a lifelong educator, innovator, and builder of bold new learning models. Known for her “say yes and figure it out” philosophy, she has spent her career transforming challenges into opportunities for students. In her former role as Vice President of Education Outreach and Student Services at Arizona State University, and CEO / Managing Director of ASU Preparatory Academy, Julie's work blurred boundaries between K–12 and higher education, expanding ASU Prep’s digital network across states and around the globe. Her pioneering journey began as the founding President and CEO of Florida Virtual School (FLVS), where she turned a bold idea into the nation’s first fully online public school that eventually served hundreds of thousands of students and set the stage for a new era of digital learning. Julie continues to inspire educators and leaders to lead with courage, curiosity, and a resounding “yes" to new opportunities.
